Parents Magazine, 9/19/2007 This article is written by parents that have had a personal experience with an unsecured gun that ended in tragedy. It includes statistics about guns in the home, other families' tragedies, and ways to discuss gun storage with parents of your child's friends. Youth Violence and Juvenile Justice, Vol. 2, No. 4, 342-358 This article discusses the relationship of risky behaviors in teens and the possibility of accidental firearm deaths. The authors discovered that risky behaviors and rural living environments increase the chance of a firearm fatality. The article includes the different forms of prevention for gun violence.
