5 students shot at bus stop close to school in Detroit
5 students from Cody Ninth Grade Academy have been shot at a bus stop close to the school. All are expected to survive. Two other people were wounded in the shooting. Police are searching for the shooter.

5-year-old boy dies after finding a gun in bedroom
A five year old boy from Mesa Arizona is dead after he found a 9mm gun in his parents bedroom. The boy then accidentally shot himself in his abdomen. The child died after arriving at hospital.

Fairfield Ohio teens injured as 18-year-old displays handgun
A 13-year-old boy was struck in the chest when another boy, 18, displayed a small-caliber handgun at a house in Fairfield. The 18-year-old also struck himself in the leg during the incident.

A Southern Kentucky teenager was shot in the chest as he and another friend played with one of their parents guns. No charges are expected to be filed.

A 5-year-old girl from Utah has died after she was accidentally shot by a rifle whilst playing with the gun and another child. The rifle belonged to her grandparents.

A 15-year-old boy was in serious condition at a local hospital after his friend, 16, shot him in the abdomen with a 22 caliber rifle.

Two shot outside Chicago Middle School after dropping off student
Two men were shot, one of whom later died, whilst sitting in a car outside a south side middle school in Chicago. The men were dropping off a student at the time.

Gretna Louisiana boy, 8, shoots himself in throat
An 8-year-old boy arrived at a local hospital two days after he shot himself in the throat. Police say the boy initially said he swallowed a bullet. A 19-year-old was arrested for cruelty to a juvenile.

A 17-year-old is on the run after accidentally shooting his friend, 17, to death. The two boys were playing with a handgun when it discharged.

A 7-year-old boy has died after he was shot dead by his brother, 10. The two children were playing with a loaded handgun when it discharged, striking the victim in the head.
