Oakland California girl, 16, accidentally shot by boyfriend, 17
A 16-year-old girl was accidentally shot and killed by her boyfriend. The boy was trying to scare her when it fired. It is unclear whether or not the boy owned the gun, but he claims to have found it in a housing project.

Wish Indianapolis one-year-old accidentally shot by father, 17
A 13-month-old boy was accidentally shot in the head by his 19-year-old father. Authorities are unclear about what happened but the father claims that it was an accident. The baby has been released from the hospital.

Bellevue Nebraska teens, 15 and 17, accidentally shot
Two teens, 17 and 15, were accidentally shot by a Romanian-made semi-automatic assault rifle. The owner of the gun was showing the gun to the other people when it fired. The bullet went through the 17-year-old boy first and then hit the 15-year-old girl in the leg. At this time, no charges have been filed.

Tallahassee 19-year-old accidentally shot and killed
A 19-year-old boy was shot and killed in what is being called an accident at Tallahhassee Community College. Authorities are unsure if his roommate, whose name is being witheld, was involved in the shooting.

Nashville 11-year-old shot and killed by friend, 14
An 11-year-old boy was killed by his 14-year-old friend in a shooting accident. The two boys were playing with a gun when it fired, hitting the boy. The shooter initially hid the gun and claimed that a drive-by shooting had occurred, but it has since then be ruled an accident.

Kitanning Pennsylvania boy, 16, shoots self in hunting accident
A 16-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in the arm while hunting. The boy spotted a deer and took the safety off before slipping and dropping the gun. The gun discharged, hitting him in the arm. No serious injuries were sustained.

Four teenagers charged in murder of Sean Taylor
Four young men, ages 17, 18, 19, and 20, have been charged in the murder of Redskin Sean Taylor in his home in Miami. The 19-year-old teen shot Taylor in the upper thigh when he was startled to find people in the home. The four men were planning on robbing the house, thinking that no one was home.

Corpus Christi Texas boy, 19, shot and killed by aqcuaintance, 18
A 19-year-old boy was shot and killed by an 18- year-old male friend. A group of boys were together inside a garage when the shooter hit the victim in the chest. The boy died at the hospital and the shooter has been charged with murder.

Chicago four-year-old accidentally shot by teenage family member
A four-year-old girl was accidentally shot in the chest by her male teenage family member. The two were handling the gun when it accidentally discharged. The gun belonged to the victim's mother. The girl was pronounced dead an hour later.

Hollywood 13-year-old accidentally shoots self in leg
A 13-year-old boy was shot in the upper leg across from his Hollywood high school. Authorities are unsure but are ruling the shooting as accidental. It is unclear where the boy obtained the gun.
